Opened by two Canadians Matt Abergel and Lindsay Jang, Yardbird is the yakiroti restaurant of your dreams. At Yardbird, every part of the chicken is skewered and grilled over Japanese charcoal: breast, neck, gizzard, heart, wings, even the knee. They also have several stand-out salads and sides, including the addictive KFC (yuzu-infused Korean fried cauliflower) and sweet corn tempura. The no-reservations policy often equals long waits, but the raucous, jovial environment is perfect for grabbing a playful pre-dinner cocktail.
