This narrow strip of white sand is one of the most famed and sought-after beaches in the world and the place where modern surfing was born. Waikiki is actually comprised of a number of different beaches. Locals looking to avoid the crowds head to the smaller Sans Souci Beach in front of the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel.
