Key West lies in the middle of a sanctuary, so some of the most abundant sea life is found in its waters. One way to truly experience these waters is to go deep and SCUBA dive. Captain’s Corner takes trips out to the reef on the Sea Eagle, a 60-foot aluminum dive boat (that was featured in the James Bond movie, License to Kill) for snorkel excursions and, upon request, other dives sites around Key West. The most popular dive sites include the newest wreck, the Vandenberg, in 140-150 feet of water and the Cayman Salvor, in 94 feet of water. Captain’s Corner also offers two-tank reef dives, which include sites like Eye of the Needle, The Humps, Lost Reef, Hammerhead Hill and Trinity Cove, to name a few, as well as twilight dives in the summer months.
