After starring on Entourage for eight seasons, Jerry Ferrara knew that if he wanted audiences to see him as someone other than the lovable and hefty sidekick Turtle he had to reinvent himself. So the 33-year-old dropped 50 pounds to physically distance himself from the character that made him a household name. Hollywood has taken notice. He has four movies coming out in the next year, including Last Vegas in November and Lone Survivor in January. In the former, he plays a troublemaker who riles a group of bachelor party revelers played by Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas. During his three months filming, he resided on The Strip, and on his “once-a-year benders,” he always hits up his favorite Sin City haunts.

“I stay at the Aria, which has bathrooms with TVs built into the mirrors and heated toilet seats. My most recent room there was like the suite from Rain Man.”

“I start at Sage, a New American steak house, to fuel up. From there, I cross the street to Marquee in The Cosmopolitan—a big club with top-notch DJs.”

“Those looking for a high- stakes card game should stop by Bobby’s Room at the Bellagio,” says Ferrara. “The players there are basically pros.”

“I go into Bobby’s Room fully knowing that the odds are I will lose money, but I sit around, wait for that one great hand and take my shot.”
