Experience a true slice of New Orleans’ cocktail culture at the iconic Commander’s Palace restaurant in the heart of the city’s Garden District. Order the signature Crescent City Cooler, a rum-infused favorite of co-proprietor Ti Martin.

1.5 oz. Cruzan guava rum
.5 oz. simple syrup
.75 oz. lime juice (reserve wedge for garnish)
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Ginger ale

Shake together first three ingredients and strain over ice into a wine glass. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a lime wedge.
