While most Manhattan corporate offices occupy high floors in Midtown buildings, the headquarters of the Huffington Post—which celebrates its 10th anniversary this month—are nestled in Greenwich Village along founder Arianna Huffington’s favorite thoroughfare, Lafayette Street. “I love the bustle and vibrancy and the youthful feel courtesy of our NYU neighbors,” she says. Starting May 3, Huffington will be teaching a course on oprah.com called Thrive, which aims to help people destress and reenergize their lives. Huffington herself will hold office hours to answer questions. Those looking for extra credit might consider bringing the media guru her go-to decaf soy milk cappuccino with a shot of espresso from favored coffee shop La Colombe.

La Colombe
“I almost always get my coffee to go, which is a shame in the case of La Colombe because the interior is stunning and a wonderful place to read or work.”

Public Theater
“Stunning building, incredible performances, the best of the old and the new. I just saw the amazing musical Hamilton there. Bonus: They’re responsible for Shakespeare in the Park.”

Pratima Spa
“I love this spa for massages, unplugging and recharging.” For total bliss, try the 3½-hour Nirvana Indulgence, which includes a facial, a body treatment and a Shirodhara massage.

il Buco
“I have fond memories of a celebratory dinner here with some of HuffPost’s social media editors when I got my millionth follower on Twitter! I particularly adore their cheeses.”
