Anna Faris' Favorite Street

Main Street, Edmonds, Washington

Main Street in Edmonds, Washington

Anna Faris.

Actress Anna Faris has launched a new, wickedly entertaining podcast in which she and her famous friends offer relationship advice. It’s billed as a way for listeners to get not-great counsel, but the title—“Anna Faris Is Unqualified”—is a bit misleading. Faris’ husband is actor Chris Pratt, so clearly the Mom star has the dating cred to host this show. Interesting tidbit: Faris and Pratt grew up about 25 miles from each other in northern Seattle—she in Edmonds and he in Lake Stevens —and attended rival high schools. They didn’t meet until years later, but the two return to Washington often. “There’s nothing like summertime in Seattle,” Faris says. “It constantly reminds my husband and I why we want to raise our child [3-year-old Jack] there."

Daphnes Bar
“This is a two-booth bar that serves its Moscow mules in hand-hammered copper mugs. They’re amazing. And the proprietor is a gregarious guy who makes friends with everybody.”

This waterside restaurant is the place to come for seafood with a view. “Chris and I usually have an anniversary celebration here with both of our families.”

Brackett’s Landing North
“We have incredible beaches, including this one right by the ferry. Years ago, they sunk all of these boats and made this into an underwater scuba park.”

Rory’s of Edmonds Bar & Grill
This nautical-themed pub boasts more than 20 beers on tap. “On a summer day, you can sit on the deck and enjoy a burger while you wait for the ferry.”
