Sydney Wildlife World
Discover an authentic Australian wildlife experience in the heart of Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Explore three levels, nine habitats and more than 65 exhibits featuring the largest variety of all-Australian animals under one roof. Stroll through the two-story butterfly house, and get up close to kangaroos, birds and some of the most venomous snakes in the world. Check out the temperate forest environment where Australia’s icon, the koala, sleeps for 20 hours a day and survives on eucalyptus trees.

Sydney Aquarium
Come face-to-face with more than 12,000 all-Australian aquatic animals, including fearsome sharks, majestic rays and crocodiles. The latest additions to the aquarium are a pair of dugongs. There are only five of these in captivity in the world, and the aquarium has two people employed full-time just to feed them. You’ll also see adorable penguins and playful seals. Take a ride the new glass-bottom boat floating over hundreds of tropical fish and sharks in Australia’s largest Great Barrier Reef display.

Taronga Zoo

Taronga Zoo is the nation's leading zoological garden featuring Australia's finest collection of native animals and a diverse collection of exotic species. The zoo is situated on elevated land along the waterfront and is one of the most beautiful vantage points on Sydney Harbour. As you zigzag your way up along the paths among the animal enclosures, you'll enjoy magnificent harbor views. Although you can drive to Taronga, most visitors prefer to take the 12-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay.
