Every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Red Stick Farmers Market descends upon downtown Baton Rouge. Started in 1996, The Farmers Market has created a link between local farmers and individuals in the area. The Market is now a Saturday tradition where people from all over the city come to buy locally grown and produced veggies, fruit, flowers and meat. The market relocates to the Galvez Garage on rainy days.
