The USS KIDD, known as the “Pirate of the Pacific,” is located on the Mississippi in downtown Baton Rouge and serves as the centerpiece of a memorial to honor the men and women of the United States armed forces. There is unlimited access to the ship and the special exhibits, which showcase artifacts from some of the wars in which the U.S. has been involved.
