Paradoxical in nature, Garage Café is a bar surrounded by the remnants of a retired antique mall. The courtyard out back resembles a deserted estate sale with all the scattered concrete tables and chairs and untamed wisteria, but the welcoming atmosphere and outdoor patio (with seasonal live music) make the pull-up-a-stool-and-stay-awhile attitude feel just right. Did we mention happy hour starts at 11 a.m.? Remember your bills though, this small neighborhood bar is cash-only.
