Thayer Street: Splurge at the art galleries on Thayer Street to meet a lot of artists and pick up something to remind you of your visit and support the artists' community. Cambridge: An easy ride on the red line to Harvard Square, Cambridge is a fun place for dining, shopping and walking around. You can take a tour of one of the oldest university campuses in the country, Harvard University, and catch a play at the American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.).
