What to Pack

Boston is a pretty low key, practical city. You don't have to pack your most fashionable stuff, and you don't have to dress up for dinner. When it's cold, raining or windy, you want your best protection. The sidewalks are old bricks, and for women in high heels, it's a monster. We suggest heals with at least 1/2 inch circumference. If that won’t work, wear flats and change into heels. Chances are, you'll walk everywhere. Most places you want to go, you can walk there faster than taking the T.
