Gallatin Field Airport is 10 miles out of town along a frontage road in tiny Belgrade. Several major car-rental agencies service travelers there. Getting back and forth between Bozeman and its smaller neighbor Livingston requires crossing 5,700-foot Bozeman Pass—not too intimidating in the summer but potentially treacherous in the winter.
