Although Bozeman’s earned its nickname “Boz Angeles” for the many wealthy Californians building second homes, it’s tiny Livingston next door that boasts a serious stable of celebrities. Novelists Jim Harrison (Legends of the Fall) and Walter Kirn (Up in the Air) call the area home, as does outdoor writer Tim Cahill and acclaimed novelist Thomas McGuane. Actors Jeff Bridges, Dennis Quaid and Peter Fonda all own homes in the Paradise Valley, south of town.
