One of the hottest restaurants in Budapest, Onyx is only the city’s second to garner a coveted Michelin star. At Onyx, the so-called Hungarian Evolution Menu features de- and reconstructions of traditional Hungarian ingredients and dishes, such as goose liver and sour cabbage. The finished products are always modern and beautiful, often with foams, jellies and other hints of molecular gastronomy. The only problem: It’s tough to get a table! Reservations are essential.
