Clevelanda rockin' good time

This museum is so big that you can’t see much of it in an hour or two. Ideally, you’ll be able to spend several hours, or all day, there. The museum, open since 1916, has recently undergone a 250-million-dollar expansion and renovation (actually, it’s not quite completed). The museum’s main areas of interest include art from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and Japan; European works from the 1600s to the 1800s, including an Armor Court; American art from the 1700s to the early 1900s; and contemporary art. Admission is free to the museum, which houses some 43,000 works and often presents movies, concerts and lectures.
