Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is nine miles from downtown. The Rapid Transit goes directly into and out of the airport and will take you to points east, including the heart of downtown, and on to the eastern suburbs, where, if necessary, you can transfer to buses. (Schedules for Rapid and buses can be found
here.) Taxis are always waiting at the airport, too. If you’re driving from the airport, the area’s major highways are easily accessible, including Interstate 71, which will take you north-east into downtown and also south-west, and will also lead to Interstate 90, which will take you anywhere east or west, as well as Interstate 480, also an east-west road.
