Explore three centuries of recorded history in Columbia by touring some of the city’s oldest and grandest homes, neighborhoods and districts. Visit the Robert Mills House and Gardens, one of Columbia’s National Historic Landmarks; tour the Hampton-Preston Mansion with its period rooms and four acres of gardens; see President Woodrow Wilson’s family home; and explore the Mann-Simons Cottage, the single surviving house from a collection of commercial spaces owned and operated by the same African-American family for over a century.
