With hundreds of bottles from around the world lining the shelves, it’s hard not to enjoy your time at Cellar on Greene, one of the area’s finest specialty wine shops. Every other Saturday between 12 and 2 p.m., at least 30 different varieties are uncorked for you to sample, savor and take home. The event is free, provided you leave with at least two bottles—an easy task! In the evenings, the wine bar has just what you need for a night of wining and dining. Snack on a full menu of pizzas, small plates and desserts. Enjoy the nightly three-course menu for $19—not to mention the $4 glasses on Wednesdays—or just sip and converse long into the evening on weekends.
