Columbus’ main air hub is the Port Columbus International Airport, located just 10 minutes east of downtown. The average taxi fare to the downtown area is $18-20, but airport shuttles also are available. The state-of-the-art airport is easy to navigate, a plus for business travelers that need to just get where they’re going!
While it is spread out, Columbus is still easy to get around, making a car rental a good option. The main east-west highway is I-70, two primary north-south freeways are I-71 and State Route 315 and the outer belt, I-270, circles the city. I-670 connects the airport to downtown and continues to the west side. Want to avoid any construction? Visit PavingtheWay.org.
