Daytonurban adventures

This five-unit national park is located in and around Dayton and commemorates three men from the Miami Valley—Wilbur and Orville Wright for their breakthrough with powered flight and acclaimed poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. At the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center and Aviation Trail Visitor Center and Museum, you’ll find a restored print shop once owned by the Wright brothers and you can take a ranger-guided tour of the Write Cycle Company building. Over at Wright Brothers Hill, you can explore exhibits that show the Wright brothers’ experiments from the flying field and see how aviation technology has advanced at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. You can also get a ranger-guided tour of the Wright-Dunbar Village or the Huffman Prairie Flying Field.
