Daytonurban adventures

The National Museum of the United States Air Force, which opened in 1927, is the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum. The museum has more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display and thousands of historical items that take the visitor through the evolution of military flight, from the Wright brothers work to modern-day aircraft. Some of the more noteworthy aircraft within the museum include a Caprioni CA 36 bomber, the World War II era B-29 that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki, a F-86 from the Korean war, stealth fighters, unmanned planes and a F-22A Raptor, as well as nine presidential aircrafts. After exploring, stop at the Morphis MovieRide Theatre that simulates flying in a jet fighter.
