In 1978, owner Herman Castro and his wife bought a pizza parlor and decided to branch out and sell some subs and Hispanic food in addition to pizzas. Throughout the years, that pizza place has expanded and morphed into El Meson, a Spanish restaurant serving up lunch, dinner, tapas and dessert. El Meson also hosts events such as Latin dancing and cooking classes throughout the year.
