The biggest expanse of open space in a city full of parks and open space, City Park encloses the Denver Zoo, the Museum of Nature and Science, and acres of paths to stroll. When you’re exhausted from all the attractions, sit down and watch the sunset; City Park has one of the best views in town. One of the higher quality zoos in the United States, the Denver Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals organized into naturalistic enclosures such as Tropical Discovery, a large indoor rainforest that features both marine and freshwater aquariums.
