Bundle up for the Middle East's first indoor ski resort, Ski Dubai.
A short taxi ride inland is the magnificent Mall of the Emirates, which boasts one of the few Harvey Nichols stores outside London’s exclusive Knightsbridge district, a chic Emporio Armani Caffé, Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort, Ski Dubai.
Ski Dubai’s five snow-covered slopes stretch up to 1,312 feet and vary in difficulty from beginner to the world’s first indoor black-diamond. A full-day ski pass is $81 for adults and $65 for children. A two-hour pass costs $49 for adults and $40 for children. Entry into the Snow Park play area—and the unique opportunity for a snowball fight in the desert—costs $24 for adults and $21 for children. Ticket prices include the rental of all equipment and warm clothing, except hats and gloves.
