This Japanese izakaya-style restaurant in Dubai’s financial center has a harmonious mix of elements (fire, earth, water, air, wood and iron), with granite counters, steel walls and a central bamboo sculpture made from 350 pieces of bamboo. Most of the dishes are meant to share—small plates of fried squid with green chili and lime, hand-rolled sushi and Korean chilli-marinated lamb chop robata.
