Even the business set dresses casual in Hawaii; be prepared to work in aloha shirts. And pack your funny socks because it is customary to remove your shoes when entering a private home. Don’t forget your swimsuit, and pick up some reef socks or water shoes before you visit because the island is surrounded by coral reefs and it’s good to protect your feet.
