Kumpir, or baked potatoes, are popular snacks in Turkey, and the spuds are stuffed with all sorts of toppings, including cheese, corn, carrots and more. The Ortakoy neighborhood has a huge selection of kumpir-vending carts, so order a steaming, loaded-up baked potato then settle in on a bench to watch the early evening boat traffic along the Bosphorus. It’s a million-dollar vista for the price of a potato.
