Located in the National Park Service’s Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve, the Kingsley Plantation is Florida’s oldest still-standing plantation house and is named after Zephaniah Kingsley (and his African wife Anna), who owned and operated a 1,000-acre plantation there during the 19th century. Wander through the remarkably preserved slave quarters, barn, plantation house, kitchen house and interpretive garden all located on the waterfront.
