What to Pack

Jamaica enjoys a tropical climate, characterized by high temperatures and humid conditions year-round. Average temperature ranges from 66 to 99 degrees Fahrenheit, with July and August being the hottest months and February the coolest. Make sure you have a bathing suit, hat, plenty of sunscreen and take light-colored linen outfits to keep you cool in the daytime heat. If you plan on visiting the mountains, make sure to take a jacket as the nights can have a little chill at times. Jamaica has two rainy seasons, from May to June and September to November, so if you are going during that time, make sure to pack a light jacket.
