Breakfast at Joe’s with a view of the morning surf is a tradition for Poipu beachgoers, who return year after year for the pancakes slathered in lilikoi or coconut syrup. Kent’s tofu scramble is beloved by vegetarian surfers for its protein boost sans meat. For lunch, you can keep it light with clam chowder and one of their generous salads, with come with soft foccacia breadsticks that are a meal in themselves. Or choose the “personalized” salad topped with bay shrimp and you won’t even need the chowder.
