This oceanfront Victorian home was transformed into a restaurant in the early 1970s and locals have been frequenting it ever since. At Louie’s Backyard, seafood is the star of the menu, which changes seasonally. Favorite dishes include sautéed Key West pink shrimp served with bacon, mushrooms and stone-ground grits, and (when in season) the lobster pot, made with Florida lobster, prosciutto, spinach, cream, butter and truffle oil. This is a popular place, so make a reservation.
