A decidedly downscale approach hasn’t stopped Doe’s from becoming a world-class steakhouse. The simple menu lists 10 items, four of which are steaks. Doe’s Little Rock location (one of 11 located throughout the South) rose to national prominence during the 1992 presidential election campaign, when President Clinton and staffers made it their hangout and Rolling Stone magazine interviewed the then-candidate.
