Fall’s ladylike inspiration and rich jewel tones have us clamoring for a dash of Brit wit and a pinch of polished English style, revved-up with a hint of dandy.
Go There: Although steeped in tradition, London is a trend-setter in fashion and frivolity. After arriving, hang your bowler hat at the recently opened Dean Street Townhouse, sister to the famed Soho House. The Georgian townhouse features 39 dapper rooms, starting at $139 a night, and it is within walking distance of the theater, gaggles of museums and of-the-moment restaurants. Come nightfall, settle in at the buzzy Brasserie Max, located in the Covent Garden Hotel. While lapping up the restaurant’s modern British dishes and crisp cocktails, keep your eyes peeled for superstylist Rachel Zoe, who recently holed up at this central London lodge while in town for fashion week. London, this time we’re calling.
