Chef Mark Hix presents diners with a minimal, meat-centric menu at Tramshed—a bold concept that’s been wildly successful. Order starters for the table, then choose from free-range chicken or the mighty-marbled steak as a main course and end with one of the classic desserts such as apple pie with custard or parkin (traditional Yorkshire cake) with toffee fondue. In the stripped-down warehouse space, you’ll find Damien Hirst’s formaldehyde-filled tank containing a preserved cow and rooster—a visual exclamation point to your meal.
