Aldo Dean dreamed of opening a bar every time he passed by the vacant space on a corner in downtown Memphis. After convincing the landlord to give him a shot, Bardog Tavern opened in September 2008. After serving about 900 customers on its very first day of operation, it was no surprise that Bardog Tavern soon earned local accolades. Expect savory food, great drinks and Wednesday night poker tournaments.
