Lay of the Land

Minneapolis and St. Paul are cities joined by geography and culture. With downtown areas only about 5 miles apart, the Twin Cities are a functioning pair. Home to the theater district and many fine restaurants, Downtown Minneapolis is perhaps more cosmopolitan than its sister city, but St. Paul has a friendly arts and dining scene of its own. Minneapolis has the baseball and football stadiums, but the hockey arena is in St. Paul.
