Along with the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, the Battleship Wisconsin is now permanently docked in the harbor and run by the city of Norfolk, where visitors can tour the upper decks of the world’s largest battleship in naval history. As a part of this acquisition, the city has launched the inaugural film festival on the stern of the Wisconsin, known as Friday Fantail Film Festival that will feature popular patriotic films. Nauticus is a contemporary museum that uses the natural setting of Norfolk's harbor to showcase global maritime commerce and the world's largest navy.
