Since 1907, Doumar’s has been a Norfolk staple: The classic diner features homemade waffle cones (in fact, Doumar’s is home to the first EVER ice cream cone) and old-fashioned milkshakes. Doumar’s still offers curb service for those looking to step fondly back into time. Come in for one of the locally loved barbecue sandwiches and strawberry shortcake ice cream sundaes. Doumar’s is so legendary, that it was actually featured twice on the Food Channel’s Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
