Started by five women and a dream, this friendly little shop is full of handmade goods from all over the region. It’s located in the historic neighborhood of Ghent and reflects the creative vibrancy of the community there. Kitsch has something for everyone, whether that’s jewelry, clothing, housewares or pet toys. And get this: If you can’t find what you’re looking for, the staff will try to find someone in the area who makes it. Kitsch also holds classes and workshops that help participants learn a variety of different crafty skills such as knitting, painting and even making terrariums.
