When the weather is a little too steamy, you can head inside for some good-old-fashion ice skating. Since the 1950s, the Ontario Ice Skating Center has been a staple in the community and place for ice hockey, figure skating and broomball. The original owner Milo Vanderburg even helped to revolutionize the ice skating industry with his ice re-surfacing and skate sharpening inventions. Today, the historic landmark offers public skating sessions, ice skate rentals, sharpening and lessons for adults and children. You might even catch a few members of the resident figure skating team, the Ontario Hot Blades, who have won multiple championships in the U.S. and Asia.
