Panama City Beach

One of the most distinctive and beloved additions to Panama City Beach is the Miracle Strip at Pier Park, an attraction that features some of the original rides from the former and iconic Miracle Strip Amusement Park, which was open in Panama City Beach from 1963 to 2004. The rides include a 1964 Alan Hershel Carousel, 1985 Zamperalla Balloon Race, 1975 Big Eli Ferris Wheel, 1952 Alan Hershel Red Baron Planes, 1975 Eli Bridge Scrambler and a 1991 Selner Tilt-a-Whirl. There is also a Butterfly Pavilion, where you can watch butterflies emerge from their cocoons or simply marvel at the hundreds of butterflies flitting about. Outside in the park, beautiful hanging baskets filled with gorgeous flowers and flower boxes decorate the surroundings of this fabulous amusement park recreated from days gone by.
