Panama City Beach

The twin piers that jut out some 1,500 feet into the Gulf of Mexico are a great place to see the wildlife in the Gulf up close. You can walk the piers or try your hand at fishing. Both the M.B. Miller and Russell-Fields Piers are 17-feet across and 1,500 feet long, so there is plenty of room to find your own fishing or sunning spot. Fishing poles and bait rentals are also available at the shops right on the piers. It costs roughly $6 to fish, plus another $6 for a pole and bait. Fish like cobia, king mackerel, red fish, pompano and flounder, among many others, have all been caught at the end of the piers, so get those fishing stories ready and hit the pier of your choice!
