The Laurel Highlands (located about 90 minutes south of Pittsburgh) is home to three Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces:

  • Fallingwater named one of “50 places of a lifetime” by National Geographic is open mid-March through December. Hours vary by season. Guided and in-depth tours are available. Ticket prices range from $8 for a grounds pass to $122 for brunch. Reservations essential.
  • Duncan House Bed and Breakfast is one of only four Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the U.S. that offers overnight lodging. Prices start at $425 and up for up to three people (kids age 6+).
  • Kentucky Knob sits 2,000 feet above the Youghiogheny River and is a culmination of organic architecture and elegant living space.
