The airport borders the northern part of Puerto Vallarta, only 10 or 20 minutes from any destination heading south into Old Town. Upon arrival, it is best to request a taxi from one of the airport vendors. Cost varies and prices are more expensive than a local provider, but it is best to use those who have the concession.
