Transportation 101

If you are staying in any part of Puerto Vallarta (Marina, Hotel Zone, Centro, South Beach), there are numbered buses (rutas) and taxis going up and down the street continuously. It is always recommended to request a Radio Taxi or one from your hotel. Either way, transportation is easy and convenient. A car is not necessary, and renting one is easy if unguided exploring is in your future.
