This quirky hands-on children’s museum makes its mission clear: “This isn’t your mom and dad’s museum,” its slogan reads. And neither is it your run-of-the-mill tot lot, café and “little engineer” climbing area. Brand new as of October 2011, the exhibits celebrate life in Nevada, from Under the Stars, with a cave for exploring and tents for simulated camping, to the cloud climber, which is like a gigantic spiderweb. Climb into the clouds and learn about the water cycle in this nearly three-story tall structure!
