Across from the Truckee River in an old bungalow converted into a dining room, this slow-food gem is more what you’d expect from New York or San Francisco than Reno. Sure enough, chef Natalie Sellers is a Chez Panisse alum and brings the Alice Waters sensibility with her, carefully sourcing seafood and poultry and coaching local growers to grow the heirloom veggies she desires. The wine list has earned Wine Spectator accolades three years running, and the relaxed outdoor patio allows dogs to dine with their owners.
