Loro Piana // Start with Loro Piana, near the shopping area entrance, to swath yourself in clouds of cashmere in every apparition and color. The wools are superb, the styling and the choices myriad. From scarves or stoles to full-length coats and jackets, this is designer cashmere at its best. Check out the vicuña, too.
Sermoneta // Sermoneta is our favorite Italian glove-maker, and this airport shop is a good place to scoop up the colorful gloves.
Boggi Milano // Boggi Milano has stunning and beautifully made menswear not widely available outside of Italy. Meticulous tailoring and gorgeous wools are typical. This is a serious store for fashion-conscious men; buy your guy a gift here.
Others // Designers featured in the airport include Dolce&Gabbana, Hermès, Gucci, Bulgari and Furla. Look into Trussardi1911 for pony-printed or fringed suede bags in spectacular shades. Expensive, but every item is hand-made in Italy.
